Sebastian Buth | Monochrome Soul
For me, photography is far more than a pastime; it is an essential outlet and my personal sanctuary. In a world that is often loud and oversaturated, I find peace in the contrast of black and white. My focus lies in discovering the silence behind urban chaos and making the "why" behind things visible.
My photographic journey began over 20 years ago. What started with portraits and holiday moments has evolved into a passion for street photography. What has remained is a deep interest in the human element—I do not just want to capture the surface; I strive to express emotions, longings, and the stories that make every moment unique.
I define my style as "Raw Emotional Fine Art." On my walks through various cities, I look for the intersection between urban architecture and human experience. Rather than purely documenting reality, I use light and shadow to transform everyday scenes into timeless urban poetry.
Photography is my way of interpreting the world consciously through my own lens.
